I am an entrepreneurial communications professional with more than 25 years' experience, first as a journalist (master's degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism) and then as an arts marketer...peppered with the odd freelance job. I am a seasoned writer, editor, and story teller, with a proven ability to conceive and execute marketing, branding and publicity strategies to increase audience engagement. As a manager, I am hands-on and highly collaborative, focusing on high-level strategy and detailed messaging. I thrive in an environment that adheres to the principles of social equity and inclusion, welcoming a diversity of voices and opinions. And I like to have fun where I work.
